Sources & editorial policy

Calculation checks and editorial review are separate. A source check confirms the specific rate and supported mode used by the tool. It does not certify compatibility, diagnosis or a whole article.

What is stored with a calculation

Each record includes identity, brand, formulation, source, reference volume and amount, mode restrictions, schedule, warnings, rounding policy, verification scope and review date. The same record and engine serve all calculator pages.

When we withhold a dose

Unverified records never return a numeric dose. Missing source details and contradictory instructions need resolution before activation. The old generic Prime emergency multiplier and salt treatment levels are not offered as verified recommendations.

Corrections and author information

Recent content corrections from 27 October 2026 were preserved. Earlier content is labelled while awaiting review. We do not claim clinical credentials, independent efficacy validation or guaranteed livestock safety. About Richard James.

To request a correction, email info@dosemytank.com with the calculation URL and manufacturer instructions.
