eSHa EXIT for goldfish: volume, records and treatment limits

This guide helps you prepare a calculation for a larger aquarium with substantial decor. It does not prescribe a medicine for goldfish or create a special species dose. A spot-like mark or rubbing is an observation to record, not a confirmed diagnosis from this website.

Start with the aquarium you will actually treat
Use the volume of the system actually being treated. A temporary vessel, the display aquarium and an attached filter system can have different water amounts; a large fish does not supply that measurement.
Write down the exact bottle, all products already added, the water-test results and the reason treatment is being considered. If the cause is uncertain or the fish is deteriorating, seek appropriate fish-health advice.
A water-volume example
A nominal 200 L tank is estimated to contain 170 L. Record the 15% deduction as an estimate. If 170 L was measured instead, choose measured water and apply no second deduction.
This is a worked input example, not a clinical case or evidence of treatment success. Check litres versus US or UK gallons before using the result.

What this guide does not decide
There is no automatic half-dose, double-dose, heat treatment, salt addition or recovery deadline based on the species name. The linked manufacturer instructions take priority over a general species shortcut. If your bottle differs from the calculator, resolve that difference before dosing.
