Which Safe pack and purpose do I choose?
Select chlorine/chloramine conditioning or the ammonia mode matching your pack. The current web instructions distinguish the 50 g pack from larger packs for ammonia. Results are milligrams, not grams.

These illustrations use 100 L of measured water, without a decor deduction. Choose the matching stage or formulation above for your own water volume. They do not select a treatment or establish livestock suitability.

Before you measure
Use a scale able to resolve the amount. Seachem does not recommend premixing and storing Safe solution. Resolve a bottle/web-label disagreement before dosing.
Product-specific checks from the calculation record
- Amounts are milligrams (mg), not grams. Use a scale suitable for the quantity; do not estimate tiny spoon fractions.
- The current webpage distinguishes the 50 g ammonia dose from larger packs. Check the formulation and directions on your own pack before selecting a mode.
- High-chloramine, emergency and temperature-related adjustments are not selected automatically. Do not premix and store a Safe solution.
Is a tiny spoon fraction a reliable measurement?
A displayed powder amount is arithmetic, not evidence that a spoon can measure it accurately. Use suitable weighing equipment.
