Why use FritzZyme 7?
FritzZyme 7 contains specific strains of live nitrifying bacteria proven to reduce fish loss due to toxic levels of ammonia and nitrite. Unlike many other products, FritzZyme 7 contains the actual species of bacteria responsible for the nitrogen cycle in freshwater aquariums.
The Original Live Bacteria
FritzZyme 7 was the first product to provide live nitrifying bacteria to the aquarium hobby. It is a highly effective tool for establishing the biological filter in new tanks or for quickly restoring the bio-filter after medication or major water changes.
Safety Tips
- Use 4oz (119ml) per 10 gallons for new tanks.
- Use 2oz (60ml) per 10 gallons for established tanks.
- Safe for all freshwater fish, invertebrates, and plants.
Frequently Asked Questions
While FritzZyme 7 is shelf-stable, refrigeration can extend the life of the live bacteria. Avoid exposing the bottle to extreme heat or freezing temperatures.
FritzZyme 7 is the standard concentration, while TurboStart 700 is a super-concentrated version. You can use either, but TurboStart is generally preferred for emergency situations or very large systems.
