Both are concentrated water conditioners, but their printed reference volumes and precautions need to be read separately. Choose by the exact bottle, application and measurement you can make. A similar amount in millilitres does not establish equal performance.

Fritz warns that large amounts can quickly reduce dissolved oxygen and advises good water flow or aeration, avoiding excessive or frequent additions. Its specific Ich-X FAQ says Complete is not compatible with that medication. This specific exception matters more than a broad “works with medicines” statement.

No. Seachem describes interference with some ammonia tests; Fritz recommends salicylate-type testing and avoiding Nessler kits.
