Is this the eSHa snail product GASTROPEX?
Yes. This page covers GASTROPEX and its standard three-day plan. The older “Gastropod” identifier is retained internally for saved-calculation compatibility, not as another product.
Worked examples
These illustrations use 100 L of measured water, without a decor deduction. Choose the matching stage or formulation above for your own water volume. They do not select a treatment or establish livestock suitability.
Standard three-day course
| Stage | Amount or action for 100 L |
|---|---|
| Day 1 | 20 drops (or 1 mL) |
| Day 2 | 10 drops (or 0.5 mL) |
| Day 3 | 10 drops (or 0.5 mL) |
Drops are rounded under this product’s measurement policy; mL uses the unrounded source amount. Choose one measuring method—do not add both. A drop size from another bottle is not interchangeable.
Example only. Your calculation above uses your own inputs. Small amounts and powder fractions still need equipment that can measure them reliably.
Before you measure
It kills snails and contains copper. Remove desired snails, remove dead material and follow the manufacturer’s invertebrate cautions. A large die-off can pollute the water.
Product-specific checks from the calculation record
- Kills snails. Remove desired snails and as many pest snails as possible before treatment; remove dead material and monitor water quality.
- Read the manufacturer’s invertebrate warnings. Do not infer universal shrimp or other invertebrate safety.
Does the calculation establish shrimp safety?
No. Review the exact livestock cautions before treating a shared aquarium; do not turn a calculated amount into a blanket compatibility claim.
