How calculations work

Calculation inputs stay in this page’s URL so Back and Edit can retain them. Saving tanks or a treatment plan on your device is separate and optional.

Clear amounts. Visible assumptions.

Your calculation, explained

Choose a product and enter the water you’re actually dosing.

  1. Check the exact product and formulation.

What happens after the first ndx addition?

The standard result includes the first addition and the required 24-hour cleanup: siphoning, filter cleaning and a 50% water change, with the manufacturer’s alternative shown separately.

Worked examples

These illustrations use 100 L of measured water, without a decor deduction. Choose the matching stage or formulation above for your own water volume. They do not select a treatment or establish livestock suitability.

Standard Dose + 24-Hour Cleanup

StageAmount or action for 100 L
Day 1100 drops (or 4.4 mL)
After 24 hoursNo dose. Siphon the bottom, clean the filter and perform a 50% water change.
Manufacturer alternative: siphon the bottom, filter over fresh activated carbon and change 20% of the water. Follow the leaflet.

Drops are rounded under this product’s measurement policy; mL uses the unrounded source amount. Choose one measuring method—do not add both. A drop size from another bottle is not interchangeable.

Example only. Your calculation above uses your own inputs. Small amounts and powder fractions still need equipment that can measure them reliably.

Before you measure

Do not combine ndx with other eSHa products. Its drop-to-mL conversion differs from other bottles. Repeats for egg-laying nematodes depend on the applicable directions.

Product-specific checks from the calculation record
  • Do not combine ndx with other eSHa products. Follow its specific filtration and cleanup instructions.

Is the cleanup row another dose?

No. It is an aftercare action. Retain it in your plan rather than counting every table row as a medicine addition.
