Seachem Stability vs. Fritz TurboStart 700: Speed vs. Resilience

When aquarium owners talk about "cycling in a day," they are usually talking about one product: Fritz TurboStart 700. It is the powerhouse of the biological filtration world. But standing against it is Seachem Stability, a product that has sat on the shelf of almost every successful fishkeeper for decades.

In this battle, we are comparing two completely different biological technologies. One is a high-concentration live culture that demands refrigeration, while the other is a shelf-stable spore mix that can survive almost anything.

1. The "Live" Advantage (TurboStart)

Fritz TurboStart 700 contains the actual nitrifying bacteria (Nitrosomonas and Nitrobacter) that grow in your filter, but at a concentration 15x higher than their standard FritzZyme 7. • Maintenance Mode: Many scapers use Stability for monthly "top-ups" after water changes, even if they started the tank with TurboStart. This combines the speed of Fritz with the resilience of Seachem.
