Initial use or maintenance?
The initial reference is 5 mL per 40 L; maintenance after the named livestock/biofilter triggers uses 5 mL per 80 L. This product is distinct from Stability.

Before you measure
Shake well. Seachem specifies UV/ozone off for two to three days and removal of antibiotics before adding these bacteria. Do not interrupt a needed medication course just to add a supplement.

Will Pristine fix recurring nutrient problems by itself?
The amount cannot diagnose overstocking, overfeeding or inadequate filtration. Review those conditions when problems recur.
