Which Tropica nutrition bottle is this?
Specialised Nutrition contains nitrogen and phosphorus as well as other nutrients. The weekly starting reference is 6 mL per 50 L, added when changing water and adapted to plant requirements.
Worked examples
These illustrations use 100 L of measured water, without a decor deduction. Choose the matching stage or formulation above for your own water volume. They do not select a treatment or establish livestock suitability.
Weekly, with the water change
| Stage | Amount or action for 100 L |
|---|---|
| Weekly, with the water change | 12 mL |
Example only. Your calculation above uses your own inputs. Small amounts and powder fractions still need equipment that can measure them reliably.
Before you measure
Tropica’s pump dispenses 2 mL per push. Measure a smaller amount in mL if a whole press would be too much; do not assume every brand’s pump is identical.
Product-specific checks from the calculation record
- Tropica’s pump dispenses 2 mL, but the calculator reports mL so pump fractions are not silently rounded.
- Adjust to plant uptake using the manufacturer’s guidance; Premium and Specialised have different nutrient contents.
Is Specialised the same as Premium Nutrition?
No. Premium omits nitrogen and phosphorus. Matching mL amounts do not make the nutrient formulations interchangeable.
